Safe use of insulin
Insulin syringes

Information

Insulin syringes are specially designed for administering insulin.

The picture below shows a U100  insulin syringe which  can hold up to 1ml or 100 units of insulin. There are also other types available such as 0.5ml (50 units) and 0.3ml (30 units). Take care to ensure you have the correct syringe for the dose.
