University of Leicester Diabetes MSc Adult Inpatient Diabetes Module

This is a great opportunity for anyone involved in adult inpatient care for patients with diabetes or in commissioning care for patients with diabetes (DSNs, SpRs, AMU, cardiac, renal or vascular nurses, commissioning GPs, GPs with a special interest).

This module covers diabetic emergencies, their presentation and management, and broader aspects of managing inpatients with diabetes. Learners will be able to critically appraise current research and national directives which support the clinical management for diabetes inpatient care.

The module can be taken as a stand alone module or as part of a higher award.

The next module is scheduled 12/13/14 Nov and 3/4 Dec 2012.  The five taught days are undertaken in Leicester and are very interactive.

For more information see the module flyer (PDF 1.8MB), the University of Leicester website or contact Janet Jarvis: janet.jarvis@uhl-tr.nhs.uk
