NHS Diabetes new Innovations Hub launchedInnovation+hub+logo.jpg

NHS Diabetes has launched a new Innovations Hub to showcase innovative and pioneering examples of diabetes care.

The idea is to encourage the spread of innovative ideas within the NHS, helping to improve diabetes care and provide a simple and easy-to-use webportal showcasing ideas and models, which could be emulated or adapted for local use. The hub aims to help avoid any 'reinventing of the wheel' and cascade novel ideas throughout the NHS.

Short summaries detailing diabetes innovations from across the health service with links and contact details for further information are being collected.

The innovations will complement the existing range of our Diabetes Success Stories, which provide a more comprehensive review.

The innovations collected so far include:

NHS Diabetes does not take responsibility for the content of each innovation, but is merely providing the means for the exchange of ideas.

For more information on the hub please contact Oliver Jelley on oliver.jelley@diabetes.nhs.uk
