Yorkshire and Humber awards success

Yorkshire & Humber have been very successful in the recent Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes Awards 2011 – the first in a new series of programmes to highlight good healthcare practice in key therapy areas in the UK.

Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust and the University of York won a Gold Award for the Trust’s ‘Insulin Pump Workbook’ project in the category ‘Specialist group - Children and young people’.gold-award-best-programme-for-specialist-groups.jpg

The Yorkshire and Humber Paediatric Diabetes Network won a Bronze Award for 'Partnership Working of the Year'. Dr.Philip Holland collected the award as Chairman of the Network.

Martin Fox, Project Manager of KICk-OFF at Sheffield Children’s NHS FoundationTrust collected a Bronze Award on behalf of their team, for 'Best initiative supporting self-care'. 

Liz Webster and her team at Leeds Metropolitan University won a Silver Award for 'Partnership Working of the Year', for "Getting Sorted".QiC award Getting Sorted 003.jpg
