National Child and Maternal Health Observatory (CHiMat)
- The national Child and Maternal Health Observatory provides information and intelligence to improve decision-making for high quality, cost effective services. It supports policy makers, commissioners, managers, regulators, and other health stakeholders working on children's, young people's and maternal health. The maternity hub aims to bring together a range of resources relating to maternal health and maternity services.
National Diabetes Information Service (NDIS)
- NDIS enables easy access to a wide range of diabetes information and tools.
East Midlands Public Health Observatory (EMPHO)
- EMPHO is the lead observatory for teenage pregnancy. The teenage pregnancy pages contain data and signposts to useful resources.
Hospital Episode Statistics (HES)
Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) is a data warehouse containing details of all admissions to NHS hospitals in England. The maternity publication includes details of all deliveries taking place in NHS hospitals (in England). This includes a wide range of information such as details of how the baby was born (method of delivery), complications, birth weight and gestation.

- Centre for Maternal and Child Enquiries (CMACE) is an independent charity. Its mission is to improve the health of mothers, babies and children by carrying out confidential enquiries and other related work on a UK wide basis and widely disseminating the results.
- Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes: Diabetes UK’s section for pregnancy.
