Diagnosis and continuing care - classification of diabetes
Diabetes is a complex condition that poses one of the most significant health threats to the people of England. Increasing incidence highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis in order to achieve appropriate management and treatment and prevention of long term complications.
In partnership with the Royal College of General Practitioners , NHS Diabetes has supported a review of the Coding Classification and Diagnosis of Diabetes in primary care in England with recommendations for improvement.
